Higger Tor is a well-known gritstone tor located in the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park, near Hathersage in Derbyshire. Rising to around 434 metres, it forms part of a wider landscape of escarpments and rock formations overlooking the Burbage Valley.
 
The area is characterised by millstone grit, a coarse sandstone shaped over thousands of years by erosion. This has created a landscape of rocky outcrops, scattered boulders, and natural edges that define the skyline.
 
Higger Tor sits alongside nearby features such as Burbage Rocks and Carl Wark, an ancient hill fort, adding both geological and historical interest to the area.
